Some ladies from church invited us to the park the other day. It was very bizarre as I stepped out of the car, pulled the stroller from the back and strapped Eva in. I had the realization that I was on a play-date with my very own child. I am now one of those stay-at-home moms out for an exciting day at the park. My feelings were mixed between being horrified and full of joy.
The weather was gorgeous and it was a relief to be out of the house in the middle of the day. And with other adults too! Eva wouldn’t try the monkey bars or the slide, but she loved the swings. It was a successful first outing with our new friends.
