Eva is at a great age where she thinks every holiday is a gaggle of excitement. I don’t usually care for Cupid’s holiday that much – I don’t need a fake excuse to eat chocolate – but Eva was looking forward to Valentine’s Day so I jumped right in and went for it this year.
We started the day with a kitty necklace and more of those yummy peppermint patties.
Then there were lots of balloons that were handy later in the afternoon when her friend came over to play. They created a game called, “Balloon Hands.”
And don’t forget the decorations on her bedroom door. I cut all of those bad boys out by myself.
And we finished the evening with a rousing game of Guess Who.
We had heart-shaped hamburgers for dinner and pink milk. We also had strawberry Jell-O with whipped cream from a can. I may or may not have spent the evening spraying whipped cream into my mouth every five minutes. My memory is fuzzy on this.
It was a successful day. Truly a celebration fit for a kitty.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
What a treat celebrating with such gusto
