Well…it happened. Kitty turned 5! We had a great day celebrating with her friends by jumping on inflatable bounce houses at Super Bounce, then we had dinner at a restaurant of Eva’s choosing – Wendy’s of course – then we munched on a lopsided birthday cake, courtesy of moi. It didn’t look pretty but it tasted fantastic; layers of chocolate, chocolate chip cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry sauce. YUM! And we mustn't forget the kitty cupcakes that Eva and I made for her friends. How divine.
Turning 5 means you really rake in the presents: A light show projector from Aunt Cam, Play-Doh and a coloring book from Grandma Lisa, and cash-ola from my parents, which she used to purchase a Hei-Hei doll that screeches. It’s not annoying at all.
Michael and I got her a new stuffed kitty since I will never allow a real one, magnetic blocks, a butterfly net, and Shimmer and Shine teenie genie pets. Eva was in heaven.
She again insisted all day that she wasn’t 5 until she blew out her candles. It was a long wait until nearly 7 in the evening. But what a fun and exhausting day!
Happy Birthday, Eva!
