I love Halloween. I love the little kids in costumes, I love the trick-or-treating, I love the candy, I love it all. Love, love, love.
We had a most excellent Halloween. We told Eva months ago that she could color her hair for Halloween. She’s been trying to decide on a color ever since. Well, the day finally arrived to color her hair. She chose black for Wonder Woman and boy, was she thrilled about that. We had our favorite friends over for dinner and then went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. The weather was beautiful, the kids were out in abundance, and I couldn’t believe my baby was darting around the neighborhood as a 6-year-old.
And darting she was. About 30 minutes into our galivanting, Eva looked at me and panted, “Do…you…have…any…water? I’m so thirsty.” We were near a house of a family we know so I asked them if Eva could come in for some water. They obliged.
Next year I’m packing water for my race horse.
I left candy out on our porch since we were out and about:
And then we went for it.
Success! Happy Halloween!
