Spring Break Numero Uno

I cajoled my sissy into coming to my house for another Spring Break this year.  I'm awfully glad she is cajole-able because I love being with her.  And she brings along her kids for Kitty to play with and boss around.  It's a win-win for me.

Last time my sissy came I was able to convince Mother Nature to behave and bring us nothing but sunshine.  This year Mother Nature rolled her eyes at me.  She's so moody.

Regardless, we had a great time.  I love having extra people and extra noise at my house.  It brightens my soul.

So what did we do for fun?  Well...

We met our other sissy at the beach and sat around eating hoagies and Oreos.  It was cold but we had a fire so we didn't die from exposure.

We went to the Lego store and poked around for specific pieces that my sissy needed for her Lego club.

We went hiking and skipped rocks.  

We had an adventure at the park and climbed a giant tree.

We attended virtual church.

We jumped at the trampoline park.

And we hung around the house, played Fibbage, went to the Capitol, and were kicked off Willamette University's campus for not wearing masks.  It was good times for all. 

I love Spring Break!

Leprechaun Day

Despite our inability to capture the elusive leprechaun called Gilly McGillacuddy, we still managed to enjoy our day of St. Patrick. 

It was green food, hats, and a cuddly friend to watch over each plate.  Kitty thought we should have more company at the table.  I think she was right.

Happy St. Patrick's day to us! 

Bait and Wait

Kitty was not deterred by Gilly's escape.  She carefully reset her trap and surrounded the pot of gold with double-sided tape.  And even though she was plotting Gilly's demise, she politely asked him to tell the Tooth Fairy that she had a loose tooth.  It seemed like a good time to mention it to him.

But surely the leprechaun wouldn't slip away this time.  And yet, he did.

That Gilly is a wily one.  

Wily and pants-less.  

Trapper Kitty

Kitty wanted to catch a leprechaun called Gilly McGillacuddy.  Last year she only caught his belt buckle.  

So she set a trap.

And wrote him a note.

And waited.

The gold lured Gilly.  

The trap was sprung.  

But Gilly got away.

Darn that ninja-leprechaun.

School

We enjoyed some long-awaited excitement in March.  You see, in March, Kitty was finally was allowed to go back to in-person school!

It's only Tuesday and Thursday.  And only half the class.  And she has to wear a mask. And it begins at 8 am.

But she's at school!

The evening after her first real day at school, I gave her some bath bombs to mark the occasion.

She enjoyed a bowl of buttered pasta in a nice, hot bath.

Now that's a proper celebration.

Safety First

It's just good sense to protect your head when watching TV.  

You never know what will fall from the sky.
